Developers have been accused of "pushing to increase house building in North Mymms" and "add 899 new houses to the 609 already in the Draft Plan" for the parish.

The alarm has been raised by the North Mymms District Green Belt Society in its March 2018 newsletter.

The society writes:
"... promoters of site that were not included in the Draft Plan are pressing hard, making significant effort and expense, to argue that their site should be included in a revised Plan."
