More than 70 local walks on one interactive map

All walks are free to access, download, and print

All 74 local rambles on the Hertfordshire Walker site are now available to locate and access on a single map. The new feature also includes KML and GPX information for those who want to navigate the walks with a smartphone or any other mapping device. Both additions were suggested by users of the free walks site.

The suggestion for adding a map was made by local walker Jason, who wanted to be able to see at a glance the options available in any area. Jason and Carole, along with Fred their lurcher, have tried many of the walks.

Another regular user of the site, Daniel, who with his family, Iwona, Sara, and Casper walk the routes, suggested adding the KML and GPX details to the routes.

The Hertfordshire Walker site has a walking tips page where information, some suggested by regular users, has been added to help others make the most of the rambles.

Comments welcome

The Hertfordshire Walker site is keen for the site to continue to be a community project with contributions from anyone who tries the walks.

Walkers are encouraged to continue to add comments, tips, and suggestions in the comments box at the foot of every walk.

The map of the walks is embedded below. More are being added.
