Applications must be in by 4 April for election on 2 May
North Mymms Parish Council (NMPC) is inviting local residents to put their names forward to serve as councillors in the forthcoming elections. You will need to fill out a form and find a proposer and a seconder.
North Mymms has three wards. They are Brookmans Park (four councillors), Little Heath (two councillors), and Welham Green (four councillors). You can check who your local councillor is at the NMPC site.
If you are interested in standing you will need to complete the nomination information pack from the NMPC website. Scroll down this page and click on the black download button.
The completed form must be delivered by hand to the Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council offices by 4 April.
The Hertfordshire Association of Parish and Town Councils has produced a leaflet explaining what serving as a parish councillor entails.
If you need any more advice you are invited to contact the parish clerk at NMPC.
