Two weeks ago North Mymms Parish Council (NMPC) told this site that the material was deposited by North Mymms Angling Club.
According to the local authority the club intends to use it to “replace the pathways around the fishing lake and renew the fishing lake swims”.
The fishing club says it hopes the work can be carried out next week, but a spokesperson said the club is waiting for permission from the parish council.
