45 reported crimes in North Mymms in April

31% for violence and sexual offence

The crime figures for North Mymms for April 2019 reveal that 45 incidents were reported with 22 in and around Brookmans Park and 16 in the Welham Green area.

The most commons crime was violence and sexual offence with 14 incidents being investigated including seven in Brookmans Park, six in Welham Green, and one in Little Heath.

The figures taken from the Hertfordshire Constabulary database for the Welwyn Hatfield area show a total of 242 reported crimes. The incidents in North Mymms are as follows:

Brookmans Park

  • Violence and sexual offence = 7
  • Violent crime = 5
  • Burglary = 3
  • Criminal damage and arson = 3
  • Anti social behaviour = 2
  • Public order = 1
  • Theft = 1

Colney Heath

  • Anti social behaviour = 1

Little Heath

  • Anti social behaviour = 1
  • Burglary = 1
  • Violence and sexual offence = 1

Water End

  • Vehicle crime = 1

Welham Green

  • Violence and sexual offence = 6
  • Anti social behaviour = 5
  • Criminal damage and arson = 2
  • Violent crime = 2
  • Burglary & theft = 1
  • Other crime = 1
  • Drugs = 1

Their service is completely confidential and you do not have to give any personal information in order to get help. They have a 24/7 helpline - 0808 178 4448.

The government also has a helpline for those subjected to domestic abuse and sexual violence.
