43 reported crimes in North Mymms in July

18 incidents of ‘violence and sexual offences’ reported

The crime figures for North Mymms for July 2019 reveal that 43 incidents were reported during the month with 17 in and around Brookmans Park, three more than the previous month, and 19 in the Welham Green area, five fewer than the June total.

The crime figures for the previous month recorded 46 reported incidents locally.

The most commons crime in North Mymms in July was ‘violence and sexual offences’ with 18 incidents being investigated, including nine in Welham Green, eight in Brookmans Park, and one in Little Heath.

According to Hertfordshire police, the category ‘violence and sexual offences’ includes “offences against the person such as common assaults, grievous bodily harm and sexual offences”.

The figures taken from the Hertfordshire Constabulary database for the Welwyn Hatfield south area show a total of 291 reported crimes compared with 290 the previous month. The incidents in North Mymms are as follows:
