T-Mobile will be working on the telecommunications mast on Station Road on Monday 19 August resulting in a section of the road being closed to traffic. This is because a crane will be required for the work on the mast. Diversions will be in place.

However there is conflicting information about how much of Station Road will be closed.

The Hertfordshire Highways site links to Roadworks.org which states that the closure will be from Bradmore Lane to 400m north of the junction with Station Road. According to Hertfordshire Highways the section of road will be closed from 9.30am to 4pm.

But 400m north of Bradmore Lane is the Potterells Medical Centre, not Bulls Lane.

The distance from Bradmore Lane to Bulls Lane, where the second road closure sign has been placed, is 1,000m.

This site has contacted Herts Highways via email, phone and Twitter asking for clarification regarding the conflicting information. So far the response from Hertfordshire Highways has not addressed the question asked.
