Local residents are asked to refer to their refuse and recycling collection calendar card to find out whether they are due a refuse or recycling and compost collection.
WHBC says the time they collect the bins over Christmas and new year may change.
What to do with excess recycling
Local recycling centres can be used to recycle excess paper and card, glass, cans and plastic bottles.
Plain Christmas cards (no glitter or foil decorations) can be placed in your paper caddy for recycling.
Food waste can be placed in your brown bin (if you subscribe to the garden waste service).
Refuse and recycling text alerts
You can sign up to text alerts from WHBC to be notified if there are any changes to your refuse and recycling collections.
