57 reported crimes in North Mymms in December

16 reports of ‘violence and sexual offences’

The December 2019 crime figures for North Mymms show that 57 incidents were reported during the month, five more than in November.

The most common category of crime was ‘violence and sexual offences’, with 16 incidents being investigated in Brookmans Park, Little Heath, and Welham Green.

According to Hertfordshire police, the category ‘violence and sexual offences’ includes “offences against the person such as common assaults, grievous bodily harm and sexual offences”.

The figures, taken from the Hertfordshire Constabulary database for the Welwyn Hatfield South area, show a total of 229 reported crimes in December compared with 215 the previous month.
