Campaign to save local public right of way

Evidence gathered in attempt to keep bridleway open

Residents in Little Berkhamsted are enlisting the public’s help in trying to save a public right of way, after warning signs were posted discouraging walkers and riders from using the route.

Hertfordshire County Council’s rights of way team is currently investigating the matter.

A leaflet has been produced in an attempt to gather “historical evidence relating to the bridlepath”. It includes questions such as when and how often do you use the path and whether people have been asked not to use the path.
