There’s been another attempted burglary, this time in Welham Green. Police say two men knocked on the door of a house in Old Farmhouse Mews at 4pm on Monday 3 February. They then used a set of keys to try to get in. When they failed, they left and walked into Vincenzo Close.

Police have issued a description of the two men.

They say one was stocky, bald, and had a dark beard. He was wearing a red zipped top, grey joggers, and trainers.

The second man, who had dark hair, was wearing blue jeans, a white top, a black jacket, and trainers.

Officers are asking anyone who might have seen men fitting those descriptions, or who might have any other information, to ring 101 quoting crime reference number 41/10397/20.

Police are also investigating an aggravated burglary in Mymms Drive, Brookmans Park at 5pm on the same day, an incident in Brookmans Park in the early hours of Saturday 1 February when a local resident confronted a burglar on stairs, and a shed break-in in Brookmans Park the same weekend.
